For the purposes of EU GDPR, this notice applies to all visitors regardless of geography.

What we collect

The only personal data we collect is what you provide when you submit the contact form on this site:

  • Your name
  • Your work email
  • Your company and (optionally) your role
  • The "intent" you select (call, site visit, or in-person meeting)
  • The message you write
  • The submitting IP address (truncated to a /24 IPv4 or /64 IPv6 block before storage) and your user agent string, for security and basic spam analysis

We do not run third-party analytics. We do not use tracking pixels or cross-site cookies. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions are delivered to the founder by email and retained in his mailbox for the duration of any conversation that follows, plus a reasonable archival period (currently up to 36 months). You can ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to the address above.

Cookies

The only cookie this site sets is i18n_redirected, which stores your selected language preference (English or Simplified Chinese) for up to a year. It is essential for the site to remember your choice across visits.

If you decline this cookie, the language switcher will still work for the duration of your visit but will not persist your choice on the next visit.

Bot protection

If the founder enables Cloudflare Turnstile in production, the contact form will load a small challenge widget from Cloudflare. That challenge does not set tracking cookies and does not transmit your message contents to Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's privacy notice for their data-handling terms.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Object to our processing of it
